I am passionate about health. For years, I have immersed myself in practicing yoga, meditation, healthy eating, plant-based cooking and Ayurveda. I have learned so much and I am excited about the prospect of sharing what I have learned with you!
I practiced yoga for 15 years before completing an intensive yoga teacher training program in Sedona, AZ in 2012 which included asana, alignment, anatomy, pranayama, mantra, meditation, chakra, and Ayurveda training. I am certified in Hatha and is well-versed in Bikram, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin.
Since 2012, I have earned multiple certifications. They include Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500), Yoga Alliance Certified Education Professional (YACEP), Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certified Group Fitness Instructor and most recently, I earned the designation of Certified Nutritional Coach from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition, I completed a Nutrition Science program with The Stanford Center for Health Education and a Forks Over Knives Ultimate Cooking Class.
